FIABCI membership is held through the national chapter and carries across the whole federation. In India that means FIABCI-India, in Bengaluru — currently 24 members across 18 corporate and regular seats and 5 young professionals.

Standing at the United Nations
FIABCI has held consultative status at the UN Economic and Social Council since 1971, and Special consultative status since 1996, carrying industry perspective into global policy on sustainable development.
The FCP designation
The FIABCI Certified Global Real Estate Professional programme accredits practitioners to an international standard of competence and conduct. Registration is open for the 2026–2027 cohort.
World Prix d’Excellence
The federation’s flagship awards recognise projects that exemplify excellence in every discipline the built environment demands — a global platform for Indian developments.
Congresses and trade missions
From the annual World Real Estate Congress to regional trade missions and symposia, members meet counterparts where deals are actually made.
Cross-border referral
Indian capital moves outward and global capital moves in. FIABCI’s chapter network is the introduction layer that makes those transactions possible.

Tell the chapter about yourself
Write to FIABCI-India with your profession, your firm and what you want from an international network. The chapter handles Indian applications.
Pre-registration with the federation
FIABCI runs an online pre-registration step. Once it is complete, the national chapter takes over the file.
Documentation and category
The chapter confirms which membership category applies, the documentation required and the fee structure. Categories differ for firms, individuals, institutions and young professionals.

On admission your membership is held through FIABCI-India and recognised across all 83 countries in the federation.
